CRT Monitor Reviews
The analog monitors are the oldest one and still used. They have been greatly modified and enhanced throughout the years. 2 models come in mind when thinking about analog monitors, the original and the flat screen.Let see the differences between the 2 of them.
Original analog monitor:

Analog Monitor
If you have an old computer monitor alone in the dark with spider webs all over it, you may then say you have an old original analog monitor. This model is still used from peoples who do not have the luxury of being able to buy a brand new monitor or a high tech one.
They are still delivering the job, but they have some downsides like the heavy weight, being large and the very annoying light reflection from the screen.
Pros: Better colors quality over LCD monitors and multisync resolution letting the user lower the resolution without affecting the overall quality.
Cons: Takes lots of desk space, they are generally very heavy and ambient light is reflected from the screen being sometimes very annoying.
Flat screen monitor:

Flat Screen Monitor
Flat screen monitors are the best choice for CRT monitor models. In comparison to the original with its curved screen, the flat screen puts an end to the annoying light reflections. This model has been a great hit right at start. Just the new screen model was enough to make the change in peoples mind.
Another enhancement from flat screen monitors was the weight reduction coming from new technologies used to make those monitors.
Besides that, flat screen has the same possibilities than his old brother.
Pros: Same thing as the original plus the stop of ambient light reflect at screen.
Cons: Still heavy and always takes lots of desk space.
LCD Monitor Reviews
Digital flat panel monitors have become the standard and are becoming cheaper every days. Do not get confused with flat screen monitors, flat panel means the monitor case is very small and does not mean the screen is flat though the screen is.Flat panel monitors are very light compared to analog monitors. They also take less desk space as they are very thin.
There is 2 models, lets take a look at their differences.
The original 4:3 screen ratio LCD monitor:

Flat Panel Monitor
This is the original model that was using passive matrix technology to display the image at the screen. Now all flat panel monitors use TFT technology (Thin Film Transistor).
Passive matrix had problems keeping up with fast moving images. Images was being lost between point A and B at the screen. On the other hand, TFT technology is tracking images movement ending with an ideal refreshing rate fixing the problem.
LCD flat panel monitor cannot keep up with analog monitors on colors quality, but even with a lower quality Those monitors are still very good and the quality difference can only be seen when working on professional images like photographic images.
pros: Does not take much desk space and is much lighter than analog monitor. It seems people likes the bright color from flat panel monitors. Larger viewing area compared to analog.
Con: Image look like it is fading when viewing by side angles. Only 1 resolution can be used without affecting the overall quality, and it is called native resolution.
Wide screen LCD monitor:

Wide Screen With Photoshop
Wide screen monitors are simply lovely. They are perfect for watching videos, lots of space at screen while still not taking your desk space and using the same technologies as his 4:3 counterpart.
If you are working with a software where there is a ton of tools to use like in photoshop, you will fall in love just being able to have your full screen image and lots of extra space on the side to manage all your tools at 1 place.
Pros: Being very large it is ideal when working with a software like photoshop.
Con: Native resolution only for best quality.
