This is very useful if you hate when someone goes into your computer and changes your favorite theme. In this post I’m going to show you the easiest way using the Local Group Policy Editor. So lets start.
1. Go to Start, at the search box write gpedit.msc and it will find the Local Group Policy Editor. Click on it.

Go to your Windows 7 desktop, right-click on it and select Personalize. You can notice that the themes are faded in black and white which means that you cannot access them. Also in the bottom of the window you will get the message:
“One or more settings on this page has been disabled by the system administrator”
Now don’t be afraid because no one can change your Windows 7 theme.
Important: If you want to disable this feature again, just follow the same steps from the beginning and in the last step select Disabled, which will stop preventing the users to change the themes.
