How to show the Run Command in your Windows 7 Start Menu

The users of Windows XP know that the Run Command was a crucial element in the Start Menu. But in the latest versions of Windows, like Vista and 7 we can notice that by default there is not such a thing in their Start Menus.

Being an advanced user of Windows XP, the Run Command was a crucial element while using this OS, so when I had the first contact with Windows 7 I really got nervous about this thing, but normally there is always solution. Lets see how can we get back the Run Command box in the Start Menu.
1. Go to the Windows 7 taskbar, right-click on it and select Properties.

2. The Taskbar and Start Menu Properties windows will appear. Click to the Start Menu tab.

3. Now you are at the Start Menu Properties section. Click to the Customize button.

4. The Start Menu Customize window will appear. There is a large list of Start Menu elements, so scroll down and find the Run Command and check it. Click OK and you will be back to the previous window where you have to click Apply in order the changes to take effect.

So after this, go back to your Start Menu and you will see that the Run Command is now enabled.
